Summary of 2 articles

 Bebo’s new soap is all product placement, no plot.



The first  article about a brand new TV soap program called “the secret world of Sam king” which is being aired on the internet via a social networking site called Bebo.  It then goes on to explain how the lead character and his friends are bumping into famous celebrity artists and also mention that Amy Whinehouse may feature in the show. Its perspective is from one of the friends and talks about how excited and eager she is to meet more famous people.
The target market of the TV program is mentioned briefly and categorised their market as the “ S club 7” it also mentions how the show is run for 3 minutes and has many competitors which are reaching is creative reach.  

Wired Magazine 

The second article is about how people describe that the internet is not good as it was ment to be. People describe it as it takes us into a  “Dark age”. It also mentions how the internet is making people across the world unintelligent by the use of easy access to bogus stories which influence the people in society today. 

They also have the advantages of the internet and have used Wikipedia as a great example of lecturing and making people “smarter” due to the knowledge of the website. in the end the writer describes how schools need to get smarter and need more commitment and that the internet is not involved in the equation as most of is garbage!
